MAT Program
The MAT Program allows first and second year wrestlers of all ages to attain a winning attitude, develop technique, and build strength and other essential skills for success.

Pre-Season
For planning purposes, here are the practice days and times for each age group- Gold Room – High School, Silver Room – Elementary/Middle School.
Folkstyle Season
MWC Wrestling Academy offers Folkstyle wrestling that coincides with the traditional Folkstyle season followed by most clubs and high schools.
Private Lessons
Private lessons can aid in accelerating a wrestler's training progress and individual technique development, while also correcting match errors.

MWC Wrestling Academy is a youth wrestling club for beginner, amatuer and elite wrestlers of all ages. Our mission is to create a positive atmosphere with sportsmanship, team unity and community involvement as its foundation. All wrestlers, coaches and parents will be held to the highest standard possible!
It is our philosophy that through our competitive wrestling program, we will provide the opportunity for youth to learn the value of preparation and hard work, and the role it plays in achieving one’s life goals. Each athlete will also gain an enjoyable, educational and enriching experience in wrestling while setting an example for other youth in our community.

College coaches often comment that athletes who have spent time in the MWC Training Facility are proven to be tougher, have more discipline, better technique, and most importantly, a true love of our sport.
RED ROOM Information
– Must have completed “MAT Program” or at least 1 year of competitive experience.
– Wrestles only Folkstyle at MWC (i.e. does not participate in FRECO or Pre-season).
– Coach’s discretion on rooms is final and may trump guidelines.
– Season runs from November 21st, 2023, through March 14th 2024.
– First Practice: Thursday, November 21st at 5:15pm
– Mandatory Red Room Parent/Guardian Meeting: (11/28/23)
– Cost for the season is $500 if paid up front or $130/month for 5 months ($650 total). $100 off for each sibling.
BLUE ROOM Information
General Wrestler Guidelines:
– More than 5 years of experience
– Grades 5-8
– Must wrestle at least 2 of the 3 MWC seasons (Folkstyle, FRECO, Pre-Season)
– Must be willing to travel.
– Coach’s discretion on rooms is final and may trump guidelines.
– Season runs from November 13th, 2023 through March 14th, 2024.
– First Practice: Monday November 13th at 6:30pm.
– Mandatory Blue Room Parent/Guardian Meeting: (11/28/2023)
– Cost for the season is $650 if paid up front or $160/month for 5 months ($800 total). $100 off for each sibling.
